  • Real-time processing: Your text is sent to our AI models, translated, and returned to you immediately
  • No content storage: We do not save the text you translate. Once you close the page, it's gone
  • No training on your data: Your translations are never used to train our AI models
  • Encrypted transmission: All data is transmitted over HTTPS with TLS 1.3 encryption

Information We Do Collect

To provide and improve our service, we collect minimal data:

  • Account information: If you create an account, we store your email address and authentication details
  • Usage analytics: Anonymous data like page views, feature usage, and error reports to improve our tools
  • Payment information: For paid features, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never see your full card number
  • Cookies: Essential cookies for authentication and preferences. No third-party advertising cookies

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate GuruTrans:

  • AI Providers: Google (Gemini), OpenAI for translation processing
  • Hosting: Cloudflare for fast, secure content delivery
  • Payments: Stripe for secure payment processing
  • Analytics: Privacy-focused analytics to understand usage patterns

Each provider has their own privacy policy and is contractually bound to protect your data.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data

  • Translation content: Not stored (processed in real-time only)
  • Account data: Until you delete your account

  • Payment records: As required by tax law (typically 7 years)

Children's Privacy

GuruTrans is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
